His average in this format has been 32.05. He made his T20I debut against England in 2007. It was a historical match where his former team partner Yuvraj Singh smashed 6 consecutive sixes in an over. He didn’t get a chance to bat but in the very next match against South Africa, he scored a fifty-run innings in 40 balls. He also received the player of the match award in that match.
